Yep, I said it. I've heard some people say Lightning Dust's punishment at the end of Wonderbolts Academy was too harsh, and that she was just trying to prove herself. Even if she was trying to prove herself, that does not mean she didn't deserve this.
Honestly, I don't feel bad for her. At all.
Lightning Dust got Rainbow to clip her wing, set back the rest of the Wonderbolts Trainees by pushing them out of the way, said it was their fault for not being as good as them, and almost killed five civilians with a tornado. She cared solely about her own advancement, and didn't give a crap about injuring and nearly killing ponies. She even tried to crack a joke and brohoof Rainbow Dash after nearly killing her friends.
I'm sorry, but when you're so reckless you endanger those around you, don't give a crap about the other ponies even though they're supposed to be a team, and didn't care one bit after nearly killing civilians? You won't get any sympathy from me. Lightning Dust brought her downfall on herself.

IDK if you're gonna reply to this, but hear me out:
Those five civilians that Lightning Dust almost killed could not have endured that if it weren't for Pinkie Impatient Pie (I'm just saying, if it weren't for Pinkie Pie's impatience, Lightning Dust would still be a Wonderbolt). Now, as much as I respect you not showing any sympathy (as well as the many others who commented here before me venting out their hatred towards Lightning Dust; not gonna mention their names), there is a way Lightning Dust could be reformed.
